Organizational Change Manager

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Must currently live in the Twin Cities area and able to commute to Rochester, MN on a daily basis
  • 10 or more years Project/Program Management AND Organizational Change Management experience on large-scale initiatives
  • Deep understanding of OCM methodology and best practices
  • Ability to manage all phases of the project life cycle and change management lifecycle
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and people at a time
  • Ability to manage projects with a $500k to $1M annual budget
  • Manage stakeholder’s expectations
  • 100% travel required

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
  • Change Management Certified, Prosci preferred
  • PMP certified
  • Management experience
  • Prior consulting experience
  • Corporate training experience

  • Motivational leader who operates well in varying environments
  • Strong executive presence and influence ability in order to effectively present findings and recommendation
  • Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement
  • Understanding of OCM (Organizational Change Management) principles
  • Ability to assess and leverage corporate culture, strengths and constraints it to support effective change management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of project management disciplines and deliverables to be deployed at the various stages in a project
  • Ability to mediate, moderate and arbitrate difficult situations
  • Strong empathy and sensitivity skills
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving; ability to use technology to solve business problems 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Proven experience with OCM (Organizational Change Management) principles
  • Extensive experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Proven experience with Process Improvement resulting in significant cost savings
  • Solid understanding of key business and financial metrics
  • Facilitation of workshops and stakeholder interviews

RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Assess current change management capabilities and maturity
  • Identify key change agents to assist with the change effort
  • Determine scope of change effort
  • Evaluate change effort and work independently, or as part of a team, to create and/or assist with the design and development of a prioritized, future-state roadmap for implementation; includes a business case and ROI
  • Develop utilization goals and tools to measure utilization
  • Create and execute communication and training plans and tools
  • Develop organizational design recommendations
  • Implement OCM principles 
  • Present and refine recommendations with executive leadership and stakeholders
